For every beautiful coast line there is an equally quaint little port city just waiting to be explored. As one of the oldest cities in the Northeast, Newport was full of displays of American heritage and wonderfully aged buildings, churches and the like to photograph our model against. All we had to do was walk outside of the our hotel to find a stunning backdrop. There were a few key components to the Americana look we were trying to achieve. Her classic blue and white striped dress really fit the mold. Add in a sun hat, ice cream cone and some navy men we happened upon and we had all the ingredients for a dreamy port-of-Newport photo shoot!
